Dr. Sajjad Hussain Chauhdary is a professor at the School of Information Engineering, Huzhou University, China. His appointment to this role followed his tenure as an associate professor at the College of Computer Science and Engineering (CCSE), University of Jeddah, from 2016 to 2024. Recognizing his significant contributions, Dr. Chauhdary was awarded the prestigious Zhejiang Provincial Innovative Talent in 2024.  

Prior to his academic career, Dr. Chauhdary spent five years as a senior research engineer at LG/LSIS Co., Ltd., Advanced Technology R&D Center. During this period, his innovative work was recognized with the "Best Research Award" (2012) and the "Best Project Award" (2014), and he led numerous impactful industrial and academic research projects funded by various governmental and cooperative organizations.  

Dr. Chauhdary holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Korea University (2013), which was ranked 67th in the QS World University Rankings 2025, and he was a recipient of a Korean Government Scholarship. He earned his M.S. degree in electronics engineering from Ajou University, South Korea (2006), which was ranked among the top 8 comprehensive universities in Korea by THE (Times Higher Education) World University Ranking 2022. His extensive research, which encompasses cybersecurity, the industrial Internet of Things, and communication technologies, has resulted in over 40 publications in leading international journals such as IEEE Transactions on Consumer Electronics, IEEE Internet of Things Journal, and IEEE Internet of Things Magazine. Dr. Chauhdary has also been actively engaged in standardization efforts, contributing his expertise to major organizations such as SAE International (standard J2831/1-5), ZigBee Alliance (SEP 2.0), and ISO/IEC (15118).
