Dr. Chauhdary is Associate Professor at College of Computer Science and Engineering (CCSE), University of Jeddah since 2016, and also adjunct professor in Abu Dhabi University.
He joined LG /LSIS Co., LTD. | Advance Technology R&D Center in 2011, where he achieved “Best Research Award” (2012) and Best Project Award (2014).
He received his Ph.D. degree from Korea University, which is 69th in QS World University Rankings 2021. He was awarded Scholarship by Korea Government for Ph.D. studies. During his Ph.D. studies, in (2006) he received a M.S. degree from Ajou University, South Korea.  He is the author of 39 International Journal and Conference publication, including Inventor of 7 patents related to electric vehicle infrastructure communication.
He remained member of major standardization organizations, i.e., SAE International standard J2847/1-5, ZigBee SEP 2.0, ISO/IEC 15118 during his industry career. His research interests include Smart Grid & HEMS, Industrial Internet of Things, and Communication Infrastructure for Electric Vehicles and its Charging, Power Line Communications, Industrial Wired/Wireless Communication Networks.
